Eve Armstrong's practice involves the use of found materials and structures. Graduating from Elam in 2004 with a major in Sculpture, Eve held her first major solo exhibition at Artspace in November 2005 followed in 2006 with Don’t Misbehave, in SCAPE 2006 Biennial of Art in Public Space, Christchurch and Everywhere, the Busan Biennale 2006, Korea. She also participated in Turbulence: 3rd Auckland Triennial 2007. She has held several exhibitions at the Michael Lett Galleries, Auckland
Eve has been selected for the Asia New Zealand Foundation artists’ residencies in Hong Kong and South Korea later in 2008, along with fellow Auckland artist Fiona Amundsen which begins in April. Eve currently lives in Auckland where, as well as working on her own projects, she works as the Gallery Co-ordinator at Artstation and tutors at Elam.
