Spark 09 international festival of media, arts & design is gathering momentum ... This year the festival runs from 3-7 August 2009.

Sneak preview of the Presenter line-up with more speakers to be announced soon:
Paul Seawright - award winning documentary photographer & Chair of Photography at Ulster University, Belfast. His work is held in major art collections around the world.

Guto Barra & Beco Dranoff - A&R music producer & journalist turned film makers bring their film ‘Beyond Ipanmena' - NZ premier at Spark 09

John Pule is a painter, poet, novelist and printmaker using techniques including lithographs, woodcuts and etchings. He has exhibited extensively NZ, Australia, Europe and the United States.

Denise L'Estrange-Corbet - co-director of maverick NZ fashion label, WORLD

This year's t-shirt design competition is launched today .... what better way to warm the soul - for those of us in the southern hemisphere - but to get creativity flowing and have fun coming up with a t-shirt design for the festival!
