New Zealand International Film Festival 2009 - Artistic Films of Interest

The New Zealand International Film Festival 2009 is almost here, it all begins in Auckland from the 9th to 26th of July. Opening a week later in Wellington, the festival will continue to crisscross the country and end in late Spring in Whangarei. MThis is set to be the biggest and brightest film event in New Zealand.

There will be a lot of fantastic films from all over the world, and this festival will inspire the people of our community and beyond in a variety of ways.

Screening dates and times are still being finalized, but in anticipation the festival has outlined the following artistic films that will be showcasing in the programme.

♦ The Beaches of Agnes
♦ Louise Bourgeois: The Spider, the Mistress and the Tangerine
♦ Séraphine
♦ Visual Acoustics: The Modernism of Julius Shulman
