CITY GALLERY REOPENS SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER

The City Gallery in Wellington will reopen its doors after renovations on September 27 with the exhibition Yayoi Kusama: Mirrored Years.

FREE public opening celebration

City Gallery Wellington is hosting the city for a day in celebration of its public reopening on Sunday 27th. From 12 noon-5pm, Civic Square will be alive to the sounds of Wellington bands, Rosy Tin Teacaddy, The Hardy Ha-Ha's and Little Bushman and there will be FREE entry to all gallery exhibitions. Throughout the Kusama season (until 7 February 2010) entry will also be free every second Wednesday, with admission charges of $10/$8 applying at other times. The open day celebrations will include free Kusama-inspired badge making for kids.
